Would have liked to spend more time there but they werent equipped to cater to the crowds they were receiving. Plus side, the cheese was amazing and our kids loved feeding the goats!
A Trip of Goats
What a delightful way to spend the morning! We signed up for the 30 minute tour which included feeding the goats and a cheese tasting, and finished the day by enjoying a 5 cheese platter. The cheese is freshly made and oh-so delicious. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not only will we return but will also be ordering some of their wonderful cheeses online.
Fun fact In fact, they had advertised that there were baby goats for sale! We arrived, parked No one working there would talk to us, would answer us or even acknowledge us in the line. Finally, without understanding why everything was so weird, we left. The only thing that was worth the drive was the view of the baby goats, who seemed to be as put off about the situation as we were.
Nothing terribly fancy or involved, but how can you beat: feeding goats by hands, lots of baby goats, seeing how goat cheese is made, sampling several lovely cheeses, and goat cheese-based truffles! Very nice people, very lovely property.
Combine this with a trip to the distillery next door for a relaxing and informative afternoon excursion! This is a great part of experiencing Maui. If you have not been to Kula you have not been to Maui. Many people never leave the tourist areas and miss the true character of our island.
Farms in the upcountry region of Maui provide amazing produce and terrific cheese. The signature cheeses of Maui come from the Surfing Goat Dairy. There are daily tours that would be great for children or any spontaneous visit. They are great by the way! You will have a hard time picking your top three favorites because there are so many good ones. At the end of the tour of course you can purchase as much cheese as you want and they are set up with the packaging you need to take some home with you on the plane.
One of my favorite upcountry restaurants Kula Lodge serves this feta on their Kula greens salad with papaya vinaigrette. Live long, be pono and ride lots! Profile JOIN. Reviews 1, It makes it almost impossible to make that decision. UK broadcasters are keen to adapt the format with British celebrities - Maljaars said future episodes would feature different animals, an indication that the goat may not be a returning character.

How much? Where does our food come from? How do we cut down on the meat consumption. This is a topic not only in Europe but across the world. The series follows the widespread condemnation of a "professional huntress", American TV presenter Larysa Switlyk , who posted pictures of herself posing with a wild goat shot on Islay.
